I am a Reader Volunteer for the Blind

When I was a 'little', cutie-mutie girl of Standard 2 to Standard 4 (haha ok, ok, not so little :P ), there were many examples in the essays either in Malay or English subjects that a person inside the text did charity works during his or her weekends and they were good time managers too where they would have certain time allocations to study and also do the charity works - For examples: go to old-folk's home  or orphanage that subconsciously I have a dream of doing volunteer works when I can be independent, and only now when pursuing my bachelor's degree that the opportunity comes.

I have been a reader volunteer for the blind since I was in Semester 1, Year 1 and now I am in Semester 1, Year 2 of my studies. It started from my ex-roommate during Year 1 who had invited me to join her to be a reader volunteer for the blind. In Kolej Kediaman Kelima year 2011, there was an event done at night in Dewan Makan, where the reader volunteers made a tour to colleges to introduce this charity work. I attended the event and had an intention to participate in the activity. I did sign up for the reader volunteer but eventually there was no call or contact from the tour committees regarding the position of been a volunteer until my friend told me that she had signed-up to be a reader volunteer for a Chinese Bachelors degree student who was looking for more reader volunteers to help him in his studies. So, I registered myself through that.

The person that I'm helping named Lim Tien Hong. He was a Bachelors degree student when I been his reader and now he is pursuing his Ph.D education in Business and Economy faculty (if I not mistaken :P). He graduated with FIRST CLASSS HONOURS during the convocation ceremony held on the 1st to 6th October 2012. He is a tutor in Business and Economy faculty and he is actually can be considered among the successful blind person in a Blind Association (not sure what the name of the association, but he often talk about it too). He will receive a recognition next week if I not mistaken from the association. Not only that, he will be going for a trip to an outside country next January too. Though that he is a blind person, we can see that he lives his life to the fullest!

So, basically, what do I do as a reader volunteer for the blind?

  1. Well of course, the first thing that is obvious: WE READ to our friends since some of them can't see at all and some can only see for around 5 to 10%.
  2. Accompany our friend to make errands for his/her needs. For example, certain day when I'm free, I will accompany him to go to night market near to University of Malaya and accompany/escort/ send him to Puduraya with some of his other reader volunteers.
  3. Since I'm majoring in English education, he sometimes will ask me to edit his works and writings.

If you think you are interested to be Lim's volunteer, feel free to contact him at 016 - 268 5672 or his FB: Lim Tien Hong.

Student In Free Interprise (SIFE) (now is ''Enactus'')

On the 15 -17th of October 2012, there had been a national exposition of Student In Free Interprise (SIFE) of whole Malaysia universities, to compete in representing Malaysia to SIFE World Cup in Washington D.C.

What is SIFE (pronounce: saif) or now ENACTUS?

According to Wikipedia (2012):
Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE), rebranded in Oct. 2012 as Enactus, is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Participating students form teams on their university campuses and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. An annual series of regional and national competitions provides a forum for teams to present the results of their projects, and to be evaluated by business leaders serving as judges. National champion teams advance to the prestigious Enactus World Cup. In addition to the community aspect of the program, Enactus leadership and career initiatives create opportunities for learning and exchange among the participants as well as the placement of students and alumni with companies in search of emerging talent.

University of Malaya didn't make it to represent Malaysia but we are proud to represent University of Malaya in this prestigious event. Many universities representatives were there and the environment was very heat with passions that some students were cheering their university's cheer all the time throughout the competition.

I had a chance to represent University of Malaya (I was one of the presenters). We had presented our two projects in Perlis Hall, Putra World Trade Centre, which were used cooking oil recycling project and food waste management project.

Let me tell you something personal :) The below picture is the picture I was presenting in front of judges and other universities delegates. I have an old picture back in 1990's of my father, who was working as a security  officer for Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), where in that picture, my dad was presenting some findings on a graph in front of other people, at the same room. hehehe It seems ironic. :) Like history repeating itself. :P
Well, before we had our presentation on Monday, there was a dinner held, to give awards and to fill our stomach too! ;D
The picture below is a picture of our delegates of University of Malaya, taken a picture with Datin Norlela Nuruddin (at the middle, next to me), our SIFE Malaysia Country Director.

In October 2012, SIFE has been officially re-branded around the world. Further info on Enactus Malaysia can be browsed here: http://enactus.org/country/malaysia/

"Congratulations! YOU are officially a REAL Sahabat SERU!"

This is the recognition e-mail that I got for the appointment of a REAL Sahabat SERU (RSS) yesterday, alhamdulillah. As for this appointment, I'd like to share a little about myself.
Hi! I've been given the name of Nurul Aini by my mom (she loves to listen to Marhaban recitals, that's why she gave me the name). I'm being known by the name of Inia among my friends apart to Nurul or Aini or Ain etc., so just call me Inia ok? ;Dv

I was born in Kedah, raised in Sungai Besi (Kuala Lumpur) and now residing in Putrajaya (in UM I'm living in KK5 Dayasari). I have a Diploma in English Communication from MARA Professional College of Indera Mahkota Kuantan, currentlypursuing Bachelor's of Education Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), now at my second year of studies (there's another two more heaven years to complete this four years degree) and having a dream to work in financial sector :P (haha)  naah, kidding... My ultimate dream is to become a housewife with a passive income of RM80,000 per month.hahahahahaha  KIDDING

Before joining the REAL Sahabat SERU programme & after  joining the REAL Sahabat SERU programme

During my first semester of studies, I found out that studying in a small college was very different from studying in a university.    The university environment wants us students to be independent and do a lot of decisions by ourselves (in college we were like school children been spoonfeeded and controlled - which I found there were some weightage of good and bad things during those days). This made me de-motivated to pursue the studies in University of Malaya until I used to have a decision to quit the Bachelor's programme(well, that was not the only reason, as a person who has had working experience -hold a bundle of money I mean hehehe - I found out that it's hard at first to live without the 'obese' monthly income that I used to have. Apart from that, my deterioration of thing in term of health made me feel bad towards life and academic too (My CGPA was below 3.00).

So, I've decided to move onby joining REAL Sahabat SERU . Alhamdulillah, through the coaching sessions, I found my courage due to the migling among POSITIVE PEOPLE and acttivities during coaching where we have set a goal of graduating First Class, where not only we aim to be excellent in IQ (Intellectual Intelligence), but in EQ (Emotional Intelligence - include Soft skills) and FQ (Financial Intelligence) as well. Through the coachings, we set goals and there were fun and exciting things we did all through the programmes where through seminars and workshops, I learnt to upgrade myself to someone better. Love languages, financial education, leadership skills, grooming, health inspection and coaching sessions helped me to improve myself; though if its not 100%, 15% could be considered as a progress too.

  1. I read more books/articles (leaders read). I found out that my love for reading has come back since I joined this programme.
  2. I participated in events/organizations/projects (I met new amazing positive friends!).
  3. I have a planner (organizer) for my time management.
  4. I improve my communication skill.
  5. I realize that we student need to have a business while studying.
  6. I write a 'diary' /journal of my personal thoughts via blogs (which I found quite awkward to share personal writings because I do have a blog before, but it's a knowledge based blog-articles are taken from other source). I used to write a diary when I was 8 years old. After the age, I found out that to finish a page of the diary took me months. LOL
  7. I know how to prioritize things better.

Happy Upgrading Myself!

In The End...

Salam to everyone. =) Now that the final examinations are over, I feel a bit relief. However, I have other things to do like projects, meetings and seminars to attend until this September 2012 where the new term of my Year 2 of studies will start.

I'm going out with my friend to celebrate her birthday, so I'm going to update this blog briefly for now.
My final paper of final exam was yesterday morning and I got 3 meetings for my university projects until around 8PM.

It was quite hectic for me yesterday because I was not having a regular sleep time where I couldn't sleep for yesterday (I dozed off in the examination hall, can you believe that! When I finish my paper, I went back straight to my room (it was 11.30am, my college lunch time is from 11.30am - 1.45pm) and slept til its almost 1.47pm. ouch, I missed my lunch. I got bad mood because I was soooo hungry! ( I didn't have breakfast as well.. what a bad day...). I went straight to the meeting venue (I had my lunch in KPS) and after finish the meetings at 8 and got to my room at 9.45pm, I sleep til early morning.. ow... my head is dizzy now and my eyes are feeling a bot sore inside.

No worries! You can do it Inia! God will not test you more than what you can bear.
Positive! ^v^v

Exasperate, Exalt, Final Examinations

Assalamualaykum warahmatullahi wabarokatuh my Inia’s Legacy// Warisan Inia’s blog readers.  Hope you’re feeling fantastically great today! J Starting from this week, my blog post titles will use new vocabularies as for me to improve my English language vocabulary range and for your knowledge as well, insya-Allah. ;)

So, lets go to the definitions first. According to  Microsoft Corporation Encarta ® World English Dictionary (1998-2005), exasperate [ig záspə rayt, ig zspə rayt] means:
1.  make angry: to make somebody very angry or frustrated, often by repeatedly doing something annoying (usually passive)
Eg:  “Guests were exasperated by their hosts' constant bickering. See Synonyms at annoy”
 2.  worsen: to make an unpleasant condition or feeling worse (literary).
For this week’s post, maybe I’ll be hanging around definition number two. J Now, lets see the definition for the next word; exalt.

exalt [ig záwlt, ig zólt]
1.  praise somebody or something: to praise or worship somebody or something (formal)
2.  promote somebody or something: to raise somebody or something in rank, position, or esteem (formal)
exalted to the rank of major
 3.  intensify something: to increase the intensity or effect of something (formal)
4.  stimulate something: to stimulate a mental quality or faculty (archaic/ old-fashioned).
For this definition, my content will be spreaded on these four meanings.

~Exasperation and exaltion academically and spiritually & Final Examinations~

·         What I have learnt about myself this week?
Final examinations for all students in University of Malaya has started this week. Four papers had been taken (see picture of my examination slip), two more to go next week. Exasperations of panicking upon the final examinations been around me since last weekend, where after the first paper (which was hard and confusing), I feel a bit sad about my performance. After went out of examination hall, I checked again the notes and found out that there were many mistakes I did. Well, people say that don’t discuss your examination questions after the exam. I doubt and disagree of this statement. That is the statement of don’t want to know the fact. How many students forgot the knowledge that they’ve learnt after they finished some major examinations? This could be the prove of learning for the scroll (be it PMR, SPM, STPM, Diploma, Degree or even Masters/PhDs) and not for the knowledge itself. Hence, its okay to discuss or look at for answers we did in the exams because the knowledge will stick longer in your brain for sometimes. However, this is only my mere opinion and you can agree or not agree with me as different people have different perspectives upon things. J

One thing I know about myself this week is that, when I got panicked, I tent no be so nervous where negatively, I tend to not read what are supposed to be read, because how many times I read the notes, it won’t go inside of my mind. (--.’)>I have had rather call/SMS my friends or family to say how nervous I am that time and I found out that a little support of words will confort me at some moments. The positive thing about this is that reading won’t make me memorize, but writing (make notes) with pictures and squiggles with colourful markers, and know the whole picture of a subject will make me understand more. That’s exalted my esteem and motivation to do my best in this battle of examinations! \(>o<’)/* So, I did SMS my friends asking for short notes they have regarding some topics that I found I stucked at and it worked! Haha, imagine, the questions I asked were actually been questioned in the papers! :D (Though I did answer wrong for some questions due to over ‘panic’ and ‘blank’ (forgot what had been read) in mind) haha :P. Anyhow, just pray the best out of the best! <(^v^)v

·         What functions did I attend this week?
Well, I didn’t attend any function this week. I attended library and examination halls most this week! Hehe. Yesterday, I planned to go back home to my parents’ house in Putrajaya straight after finish the examination at 5 p.m. So, I had packed my attires to wear for the weekend, brought my mobile phone chargers with me and had planned to take the ‘C’ UM Bus Ride to LRT Universiti to LRT Pasar Seni to take Rapid KL bus to Putrajaya Sentral. Yeah, I did board the UM Bus Ride until the Universiti LRT station. I went through Kerinchi night market for a while to go to the openned surau next to it. The exam started at 3pm to 5pm, so that’s the nearest surau to night market that’s open to perform the Asr prayers.

Kerinchi Night Market
For your information, if you happenned want to find the nearest surau to the Kerinchi night market and don’t know where to go, let me save time for you. The other flats around the night market are closed with locks (they’re open for Maghrib and Isya’ prayers as what the residents around there told me). If I not mistaken the open surau’s residential name of it is Angkasa flat. (really? Is that the name? O.o’. It’s across the road opposite to Vista Angkasa Apartment, just next to the night market spot hehe, sorry for not remembering the apartment’s surau name). You can see there will be a clinic, a bakery, a photocopy shop and a restaurant under the flat from the night market.  Well, after I bought ‘Nasi Kerabu’ (a Kelantanese delicacy, interesting Malaysian food as the rice is in blue colour! ;P) and a few vegetables (ulam-ulaman) to be eaten with the rice, I decided to not to go back to Putrajaya.. (I won’t be able to read a single thing if I went back to my house, imagine, to play with my 9-year-old little sister hehe). Therefore, I went back to UM and stayed in Main Library for a while until its almost 10 o’clock.

·         What lessons did I get from reading this week?
Well, I have read this article from Productive Muslim.com of ’18 sources of Barakah’. (I had attended its seminar in International Islamic University, Gombak on 25-26th February, 2012 with my friends – insya-Allah I will share about what we had obtained on that seminar with you my blog readers though it has been 4 months already. I will find time to share it with you later, insya-Allah! :Dv)

Basically, this article was one of the topic been covered in the seminar. The seminar was all about how to be a productive Muslim. It is just that this week I want to re-energize my memory back of what I have learnt on that seminar that I logged on to the website and found this article. These are the sources of having a barakah life as a Muslim, insya-Allah.  The one that I have always practiced since got back from the seminar is “Eating with People” since I always eat alone when been busy and sometime when at home as well. Since in my residential college prepare food for us residents, I took this opportunity not to eat at a different table (normally when we see there’s somebody on the other table is eating and sitting alone, we keen to sit at the other empty table to have some ‘privacy’ – hehe, do you realize that this indicating an individualistic behaviour? Yes, it is. Modern and city society keen to have this kind of behaviour, so lets not be that! ;D). Socializing while eating could be a good way to get to know people! ;D Interesting isn’t it? Below is the expalation from the article itself:

6. Eating with People
Anyone who has had the experience of inviting guests to his/her house will know this one. No matter how little you think the food you’re presenting to your guest is, it’s always more than enough! (Note: this is not an excuse to be miserly when you invite guests over; in fact we should follow the Sunnah of our Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) whom when visited by the angels prepared a large meal for them). What I’m referring to here is the blessing that occurs when eating together, confirmed in the hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who said: “Eat together, for blessing is in Jamma’a (congregation or being together)…” and in another hadeeth:“Whoever has food enough for two persons, should take a third one, and whoever has food enough for four persons, should take a fifth or a sixth (or said something similar).” (Bukhari, Volume 4. Book 56. Number 781)

Though the article more focused on serving food to guests of your house or something like that, during the seminar, the speaker did explain to us that apart from giving food to your guests/sadaqah your food to other people, don’t eat alone. Eat with other people as you could get barakah out of that, insya-Allah.. J I found out that when we eat with people, we build friendship and when we are stressed, even smiling and sharing some initiations of small talks during the eatings could lessen our stress level, alhamdulillah..

·         What did I learn from any audio or visual materials this week?
While I was reading for a paper within this week on one night, I don’t know why but I tuned in a radio station with my mp3 player. I didn’t quite remember the date and time or even the radio channel number, but I think it was either a Bernama 24 radio or Traxx FM as the talk was in English (while I was searching for any good songs to be listened to, I was attracted by this radio talk talking about a community project, which a subject I’m paying attention in).

The conversations for an hour talk was about introducing the listeners to a new community project in Malaysia, been established in April 2012 called ‘PitchIn’ kickstarter. What’s so interesting about this project is that any Malaysians (yes, unfortunately only Malaysians) aged until 40 years old could pitch in their ideas to make a project and been funded upon their project ideas by Malaysians. The projects’ progresses are so transparents (we could see the progress in website: http:www.pitchin.my), and Malaysian public could fund at least RM10 to the projects they like to put their money in. The thing is that, the fund cannot been paid just like that to the project owners as they have a time frame to do/ make the project a reality (within the time frame of 3 months if I’ve not mistaken). So far, I have seen the website and saw the categories for Film & Productions and Creative Writings where there are no funding given to any projects yet. We can fund the project ideas via Paypal (it is secured, so no scum I believe) and I’m looking forward to other ideas as well. Hehe, or maybe I could pitch in my ideas??? ;D

·         What activities did I do this week and what are the lessons that I learned?
Just a brief sentence to describe the above question: “Prepare early for final examinations and don’t do last minute readings for the battle of our CGPA”. (T^T)

Merrier, Marriage and Mirage

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarokatuh and a very good evening to Inia’s Legacy // Warisan Inia blog readers. How are you? Today is the  second day of  June 2012 and its the starting of Week Number 1 for “My 12 Weeks Journal” in REAL Sahabat SERU programme in University of Malaya.

~ Merrier~
·         What I have learnt about myself this week?

This month is a crucial month for University of Malaya’s students as this is the time  where FINAL EXAMINATIONS will take place. As for me, I will have 4 papers for the first week and another 2 papers in the second week of the month. Worries? YES, I am anxious indeed. I have learnt about myself that I lost sleep quite often during the study week (28 May – 3 June) and to make myself in high spirits, I made a few phone calls to my buddies whom I didn’t contact for quite sometimes in my phone lists. My birthday was on 27th May (Happy Birthday to me~~ hehe ;D ), which was on last Saturday where as a Maxis mobile phone user, I got the whole day of free calls to all Maxis numbers on my birthday. Well, I contacted a few friends/ family members to cheer myself and it worked.

Apart from that, my roomates made a cute birthday card for me and we went out to Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM) or the University Malaya Medical Centre by walking (we decided to walk as a form of exercise and we want to release our tension a little) and ate a slice of cake each person in Secret Recipe. Well, that’s the nearest cake house to 5th Residential College. You guys want to know how to get to the Secret Recipe? Okay, you will need to go to Medic faculty, go to the Medic Library, walk straight to the hallway until you find yourself at an ICU unit. You’re in the hospital already. Take the elevator, down to Ground level, the cake house is at the lobby.

Nyum, nyum... enough for the delicious cake and for this examination, I’ll do my best! I am nervous, so I heal myself spiritually by reciting Juz Amma’ a few times this whole week because it will reminisce my childhood memories of been to Farhu Ain’ Quran classes while I was 8 years old where the whole class will recite together Juz Amma’ where for me, it was a sweet memory of time and it reliefs my stress too. And for my beloved readers, what ever you do in life, DON’T FORGET TO GET PARENTS’ BLESSINGS upon you. If you still have your parents, call them and ask for their forgiveness, get them to pray for your success, insyaAllah it will cool you down a bit, regardless of what faith you are holding. J

~Marriage~
·         What functions did I attend this week?
I believe that you have your best friends, regardless how many of them. Be it, one, two , tree, or thirty, name it. For me, currently I have four best friends and we have been together since fourteen years old. One of my best friend that I have known since I was 11 years old, get married today. I went to Melaka with my other two best friends (one is studying overseas, so she couldn’t come). We went there this morning by car, my friend who is working in the UM laboratory fetched me in UM at 8 o’clock and we went to Sungai Besi to take my other friend, where from there we went to Kuala Sungai Baru, Melaka. We arrived there at 11 o’clock. She was wearing her white bride gown with white headscarft and her husband is a Navy (Not Naavi of the Avatar okay... ;P hehe). One thing that is interesting about marrying a Navy is that, there will be a ceremony of the bride and bridegroom walking under swords hold by some ‘naviens’ what I called them ;P, and believe me, it was a cool moment. I realised that my friend had married properly and I feel merrier that moment. Oh man, when is my turn?? :P  The best part was that I had to know her university’s friends (she went to different university) and they took Bachelors of Education taking Teaching English as a Second Language as well. So we took each other’s contact number and walla! Networking happened. ;P

·         What lessons did I get from reading this week?

I remember reading this novella (it is called novella because the story is longer than a short story and shorter than a novel, thus it is called as a novella) when I was in secondary school, titled “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”, where it was a simplified version to be read. I read this 88 pages novella again, where the language was definitely for not the beginner level. It took me quite a while to understand the plot, the language was very British and ‘oldies’ as well. Want to know what this story is all about? Imagine that you are now broke (well, as a student, we always broke isn’t it (-.-‘) – except to those who has their side income coming in of course ;P), with RM0.50 in your purse/wallet. Suddenly you see a girl of 4 years old holding a RM100 note with no one around and you were thinking “I want to have that money. Can I just slap the little girl and take the money and run away?”. Well, this is definitely an evil thought right? And as a fine person, you won’t do like what you have thought just now right?
Now, imagine that evil thought could be separated from your body and became alive, physically separate from yourself now, as you, but a more evil person who will do what you thought just now. Well, that’s what we call as ‘split personality’. Dr. Jekyll made an experiment in chemical portions and successfully separate himself as another person – an evil side of himself called Mr. Hyde. What happened was that Mr. Hyde made crimes and transformed to Dr. Jekyll to hide himself (well, he is Dr. Jekyll anyway). Dr. Jekyll good friend, Mr. Enfield, a lawyer was curious about Dr. Jekyll ‘absence’ and thought that Mr. Hyde do something bad to him. Well, I encourage you guys to read the whole story as it carries the lessons of sanity, good versus evil, and for me, it carries the meaning of us human has our own personalities. Sometimes we tend to pretand in front of other people’s presence and be an absolutely different person when being alone (or on the phone, hehe). As a person who live in a society, we need to know ourselves and be adaptable to our environment/ society. Like one of a Malay saying of when you go into a goats herd, you sounds and act like one, and vice versa to whoch animal you wish to change in this context. Be adaptable I can say, and you’ll be just fine. J
For your information, this book is not expensive at all. It was affordably cheap and could be bought at the price of RM7.90 (yes folks, it’s cheaper than our mobile prepaid credits of RM10 for a good literature story! ;D). Where to buy it? Here: à Book Xcess. Located at Level 3 in Amcorp Mall, next to Taman Jaya LRT station, 1 station from Universiti LRT station (the fare is only RM0.70 folks! >.< ). For book lovers, lots of good books could be obtained in a surprising affordable price. Lets go! >o<

·         What did I learn from any audio or visual materials this week?

This week, I encountered this comic strip which I found very interesting. It’s about KHUSYU’ in SOLAH/ prayers. I have translated into English for everyone to read, regardless of what first language are you using.

For Moslems, solah is the most crucial in our life. Performing it is another story, becoming khusyu’ is another story. Khusyu’ in solah is one of my weakness while performing solah. As a student, we do have lots of tasks to do , be it assignments, tasks, group discussions, college’s projects, university’s projects or event faculty projects and sometimes our schedules are tight where we need to think many things in our mind. Sometimes, when performing solah, we might be thinking of an assortment of thoughts like picture above. We need to stay focus in performing it. One tips that I read before is that, imagine while you are performing, at your right side is the angels taken all your deeds you are doing, and imagine about jannah on that side too, while on your left side lays the syaitaans telling you to do bad things with the hell on that left side of your too. And in front, imagine that you are praying in front of Allah, be  modest and made duaa’ that our solah is accepted by Allah. When I tried this tips, yes, I can perform my prayers better and sometimes when I forgot to imagine that, I started to be like ones in the picture, distracted.

·         What activities did I do this week and what are the lessons that I learned?

As this is the study week for University of Malaya, activities that I did mostly out of studying. One thing for sure for this week is that, Wi-Fi connection was good (I seldomly got Internet access in my hostel room in KK5) because on the Friday, 25th May, students started to flew off from UM to their respective hometown. Some were seen to bring their stuffs at the bus stop waiting for taxis to load their boxes of personal belongings as the end of semester will come to us just around the corner. So, one lesson that I learnt was that during study week, it was like a ‘festive’ season for students to go back to their hometown before the exam. For some students, they can study in their hometown but not for me. J However, I do missed my family a lot and I called my little brother, my little sister and my mother quite often throughout this week when I feel stressed and asked for my parents blessings upon my studies, insya-Allah. Another 2 weeks to go back for a while to my parents’ house! You can do it Inia!

Apart from that, I did have meeting for SIFE (Student In Free Enterprise) on Tuesday the 29th to discuss about our upcoming competition deadlines of projects (Our National competitions with other local universities will be in early July 2012 and to the university who will make it to the Final will compete with other universities around the world in SIFE World Cup, which will be held in Washington D.C.). We, SIFE Universiti Malaya will represent University of Malaya in two projects, insya-Allah: One, recycling of cooking oil, and Two, UM Decomposing Site awareness. I have been selected to be a presenter for our presentation in front of the judges and I’m actually quite nervous about it. Need to prepare more on my oral English so that the presentation would be clear and to the point. ;) I do hope everything will go well. Until then my readers, see you again later on my next post! ;D

Assalamualaikum and GOOD LUCK in our FINAL EXAMs!
