"Congratulations! YOU are officially a REAL Sahabat SERU!"

This is the recognition e-mail that I got for the appointment of a REAL Sahabat SERU (RSS) yesterday, alhamdulillah. As for this appointment, I'd like to share a little about myself.
Hi! I've been given the name of Nurul Aini by my mom (she loves to listen to Marhaban recitals, that's why she gave me the name). I'm being known by the name of Inia among my friends apart to Nurul or Aini or Ain etc., so just call me Inia ok? ;Dv

I was born in Kedah, raised in Sungai Besi (Kuala Lumpur) and now residing in Putrajaya (in UM I'm living in KK5 Dayasari). I have a Diploma in English Communication from MARA Professional College of Indera Mahkota Kuantan, currentlypursuing Bachelor's of Education Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), now at my second year of studies (there's another two more heaven years to complete this four years degree) and having a dream to work in financial sector :P (haha)  naah, kidding... My ultimate dream is to become a housewife with a passive income of RM80,000 per month.hahahahahaha  KIDDING

Before joining the REAL Sahabat SERU programme & after  joining the REAL Sahabat SERU programme

During my first semester of studies, I found out that studying in a small college was very different from studying in a university.    The university environment wants us students to be independent and do a lot of decisions by ourselves (in college we were like school children been spoonfeeded and controlled - which I found there were some weightage of good and bad things during those days). This made me de-motivated to pursue the studies in University of Malaya until I used to have a decision to quit the Bachelor's programme(well, that was not the only reason, as a person who has had working experience -hold a bundle of money I mean hehehe - I found out that it's hard at first to live without the 'obese' monthly income that I used to have. Apart from that, my deterioration of thing in term of health made me feel bad towards life and academic too (My CGPA was below 3.00).

So, I've decided to move onby joining REAL Sahabat SERU . Alhamdulillah, through the coaching sessions, I found my courage due to the migling among POSITIVE PEOPLE and acttivities during coaching where we have set a goal of graduating First Class, where not only we aim to be excellent in IQ (Intellectual Intelligence), but in EQ (Emotional Intelligence - include Soft skills) and FQ (Financial Intelligence) as well. Through the coachings, we set goals and there were fun and exciting things we did all through the programmes where through seminars and workshops, I learnt to upgrade myself to someone better. Love languages, financial education, leadership skills, grooming, health inspection and coaching sessions helped me to improve myself; though if its not 100%, 15% could be considered as a progress too.

  1. I read more books/articles (leaders read). I found out that my love for reading has come back since I joined this programme.
  2. I participated in events/organizations/projects (I met new amazing positive friends!).
  3. I have a planner (organizer) for my time management.
  4. I improve my communication skill.
  5. I realize that we student need to have a business while studying.
  6. I write a 'diary' /journal of my personal thoughts via blogs (which I found quite awkward to share personal writings because I do have a blog before, but it's a knowledge based blog-articles are taken from other source). I used to write a diary when I was 8 years old. After the age, I found out that to finish a page of the diary took me months. LOL
  7. I know how to prioritize things better.

Happy Upgrading Myself!
